World Rally ChampionshipEfter gennemkørslen af fredagens seks specialprøver har Citroën køreren Sebastien Loeb taget føringen i løbet. Sebastien Loeb må også regnes som favorit til at vinde løbet, han har tidligere vundet Rally Deutschland syv gange, og han førte an fredag lige fra den første specialprøve.
På anden pladsen ligger teamkollegaen Dani Sordo, der er 9,5 sekunder efter Sebastien Loeb, og hele 55,2 sekunder foran Ford køreren Jari-Matti Latvala på tredje pladsen.
 

Den tidligere Formel 1 kører, Kimi Raikkonen, er efter fredagens kørsler på 8. pladsen i sin Citroën C4, han er 3:22,8 fra Sebastien Loeb's tid.
